Kibyra, lavender fields and Lake Salda

About this experience

A different Turkey, far from the crowded resorts: the ancient city of Kibyra, fragrant lavender fields and the brilliant white shores of Lake Salda. Programme: • 08:00 — departure from the hotel. • 09:00 — a 15–20 minute stop at a café. • 10:40 — Kibyra: the vast stadium, the theatre, the agora and the Medusa mosaic; a 1.5–2 hour tour with a guide trained in history. • The lavender fields — 30 minutes to walk and take photos. • Lake Salda — lunch on the shore. • Swimming and free time — 2 to 2.5 hours. • 19:30 – 20:30 — the drive back to Kemer. What to bring: • Water • Sunscreen • Towel and swimwear • Money for personal expenses Good to know: • The lavender only flowers in June and July; in other months that stop is replaced by extra free time at the lake.
